An update of the evidence on this topic from NHS Evidence - musculoskeletal
NHS Evidence - musculoskeletal, after conducting a literature search of PubMed, AMED, BNI, CINAHL, EMBASE, MEDLINE and PsychINFO using the SIGN filter and PubMed systematic review filter with limits of Human and English Language, retrieved 66 records for the year 2008 - 2009. After filtering these records, only 15 were deemed to be systematic reviews. These were forwarded to the Clinical Lead, Dr Ray Armstrong, and Dr Philip Helliwell who found that many of the reviews were not particularly focused on psoriatic arthritis and that after examination, the material was felt to be insufficiently important to warrant an evidence update at present. Therefore, it was decided that NHS Evidence - musculoskeletal would not produce an Annual Evidence Update for 2009, but that the literature would be again reviewed in 2010.
