News & RSS | RSS Directory | About the Directory ABOUT THE DIRECTORYThe RSS directory has been developed to help you discover and make use of important, good quality health-related newsfeeds. The feeds within the directory have been evaluated against a quality checklist and tested and validated against RSS standards. Newsfeeds are catalogued and indexed with subject headings from a controlled taxonomy that can be used for browsing through the feeds. The directory search functionality provides access to the content of feeds for 90 days from the date of first publication. The directory does not process multimedia content of feeds, for example podcast audio files are not stored or searched. While we try to ensure that feeds are relevant and useful, the nature of the news medium means content changes frequently. Inclusion of a feed is no endorsement of the feed provider by the NHS Evidence. |
