A task and finish group agreed that the most important tool was one that could help support Information Professionals working with commissioners. This result is a Wiki Commissioning Handbook for Library Information Professionals. It was launched in November 2008 and complements the NHS Evidence - commissioning.
The task group also agreed that a series of Influencing skills Workshops would be beneficial to all health care information professionals. These are being run between January and April 2009. Contact your local staff development lead / SHA Learning Infrastructure / Library Lead for details.
